I continue to enjoy See You At Work Tomorrow (Prime Video). On paper, this kdrama seems like a familiar office romance. However, there is, so far, a welcome freshness to be found in the details. I also like the show's supporting characters and Seo In Guk is (of course) super charismatic.
Psychological thriller, Notes from the Last Row (Netflix) features a truly stellar ensemble cast. However, this proves to be both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because it is always such a joy to watch these actors. A curse because their presence raises expectations that the drama’s story cannot quite reach.
Ticket to Heaven (Viki) is so, so good... the story, the performances, the cinematography and the score are all beautiful. My only complaint? The release strategy. It's killing me! Unless something goes catastrophically wrong, this might be my favourite bl of 2026.
I have another bone to pick with Viki. While I realise it has VIP memberships to sell, the slow release of The First Jasmine’s final episodes has impacted my enjoyment of this show. And not in a good way.
Yes, I could pay to access these eps… but I have pretty much maxed out my streaming platform budget!
In 2024, I was about to watch A Shop For Killers (Disney). And then I didn’t. Don’t ask me why. I really couldn’t tell you. However, with the 22 July release of season two, I have finally started watching and I love this show. I can guarantee that I won’t wait years to watch the second season!
I have almost finished Love Story in the 1970s (Viki) and I am fairly confident that it will make my top ten of 2026 cdramas. I adore this show and all of its characters. I came for the central couple but soon became transfixed by the second leads. Talk about your scene stealers!
Finally, I am still enjoying The King: Eternal Monarch (Netflix). I will never not appreciate this drama’s love for Lee Min Ho. Slow mo and costume changes for days!
