Beyond Evil

Beyond Evil is absolutely stunning. I realise that I am late to the party, but I loved every single minute of this twisty mystery thriller.

Kim Su Jin’s writing and the overall construction of the show’s complex narrative is outstanding. I really cannot praise the script enough... it is incredibly smart and every episode keeps you guessing. Meanwhile, the show is also full of depth and emotion.

The story is brought to life by an extremely impressive ensemble cast. Everyone has a moment to shine but Shin Ha Kyun is a particular stand out.

He gives an incredible performance as Lee Dong Sik and very much deserved his Baeksang Arts Award for Best Actor.

Beyond Evil is a must watch classic and a dark journey worth taking...
