Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a much beloved kdrama… and for good reason.
Featuring a hugely impressive central performance from Park Eun Bin, this is a show with heart to spare.
This is also an example of a show that is working on several levels (as many kdramas often do).
On one level, you have an endearing story of love and friendship with a cute personal / professional support squad and an adorable romance (I absolutely loved Kang Tae Oh's performance in this drama).
On another level you have a thought-provoking drama that explores important societal issues, examines neurodiversity discrimination and highlights the power of understanding and acceptance.
While not perfect (some of the drama’s narrative choices feel a little too simplistic), both levels of Extraordinary Attorney Woo come together to form a special viewing experience – one that feels both important and heartfelt.
In short... reader, I loved it :)
