The Art Of Sarah

The Art of Sarah (Netflix) is an entertaining little mystery box of a drama that features a delicious performance from Shin Hae Sun. 

If we ever needed reminding what a powerful actor she is (and we probably didn’t), this is it.

I had been eagerly awaiting The Art of Sarah and, while it didn’t quite live up to my expectations, I had a good time watching this eight-episode show. 

It features an impressive cast, looks good and explores some interesting themes. 

However, the plot and writing didn’t feel strong enough – particularly given Shin Hae Sun’s powerful central performance. 

Meanwhile, the show didn’t do nearly enough with Lee Jun Hyuk's character. He really didn’t have much to do apart from looking suspicious and handsome. 

This may have been expecting too much, but I was really hoping for a Decision To Leave style twist involving his character. 

Sadly, I don't think this show will stay with me for long, but it was fun while it lasted.
