Gyeongseong Creature season one may not be perfect (I struggled with the pacing midway through), but I found a lot to recommend this show.
The cast is extremely impressive and I very much appreciated how the show explored such a difficult and devastating chapter in history.
By the end I was gripped by this story... so much so that I barrelled straight into season two.
The second part of Gyeongseong Creature was relentless and, at times, the violence that befell our beloved characters was tough to watch.
However, I appreciated the show’s exploration of generational trauma and its reminder that we should never forget the past – for reasons both good and bad.
